    Changed Icon?

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but hope someone can help me.

I just noticed that the icon which shows in the Taskbar when I open Computer, C:\, Recycle Bin... has changed to the attached pic. I don't know how/why it changed, but I do believe it has.

Can someone explain to me how to revert this back to normal?

    Try using this tutorial.
I'm not entirely sure if it'll help but it should.

EDIT : Try the link posted by StalkeR (below this post) first !! It should work !

A paid program like Tuneup Styler (integrated with Tuneup Utilities) can do it most easily .

But if you dont have such a program, you may try some fixes .
First , run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker , and see if it is fixed automatically .

If not , follow the tutorial Icons - Change Using Resource Hacker , Change the icon group 54 and 55 in both the imageres.dll files in system32 and SysWOW64 folders , with the supplied icons ....

No, not the Desktop Icons, those have not changed.
What I mean is that when I open Computer / Recycle Bin / Games folder (off R-side of Orb Menu) the default icon shown in the Task Bar, which I think was a manilla-looking folder, has changed to the one in the attachment. How did this happen & how do I replicate & change this?

    @CJW

If your taskbar is set to the default "Always combine, hide labels"

    Try this:

Open either "Computer Recycle Bin or Games" choose anyone
On the taskbar, right click on the icon you have choosen to open the jumplist
Right click on Windows Explorer in the jumplist and click properties
Click change icon and browse to %windir%\explorer.exe.... the first icon on the top left is the default.
Select it.... apply and ok. Close computer icon in the taskbar and open to take effect.

Now when you open "Computer, recycle bin, Games" all your icons should be back to default.
