placing the forums logo and animating inspector gadget in the ways i mentioned. loving both ur works!
Although I wouldn't mind seeing an animated inspector gadget, you're part of the reason I turn off animations in my Firefox browser (about::config -> image.animation_mode = none).

So if it's animated, remember that there are plenty of people who won't see it.

If your running Firefox you can just use addblock to custom block a single image, I had to use it with the stupid Avatar the Ikilledkenny used.

LOL, I'm glad I've never seen it then. As for AdBlock Plus, I use it to block just ads. I'd rather do a sweeping no animation change on my browser since I don't care to see any animation while reading forums (they're so distracting).

But thanks for the tip!. :)

As for those who use animation, better make sure your GIF animation looks good for its first frame (because that's all some people will see).

Animation disabled in the Firefox browser applies to all animated GIF/PNG files. I still see flash, video files, etc. It's my way of giving the bird to animated GIFs, lol.

Try it, you may like it. It's easier on my eyes and less distracting when I can read text without something repeatedly moving/flashing on my screen.

If I shrink the animation for all the words ... I will loose the picture resolution.
If I add all the words .. They will be too small to read easily.

Your user name will be under the Avatar ...
so "Gadget Man" above, should be sufficient for the purpose of an Avatar.

    How's this ???
