i tried running sfc scanNow and no file seems to be corrupted.i suggested orb changer v4 to a friend using win7 32bit and works perfectly fine on his computer.hope you could help me.i really like to use this app.

It works everywhere. Nothing special is there in it. You are to run it as admin, select one custom orb , apply changes, that's all .
BTW ... what aer the custom ORB you are trying to apply ? Can you upload it ? It must be a 32 bit BMP , with alpha channel transparency applied. Want to check that orb.

and another thing..i'm using win7 64 bit..but my program files is (x86) i have a "program files" folder in my (C:) plus the other "program files(x86)", isn't that supposed to be (x64)????

changing the orb using start orb changer works fine sir(but i can't use rocketdock after the change applies..hehe). restoring bugs me more though.
it crashes every time.but after i restart my computer,the orb will be back to it's default icon..i just want to use it without the crashing.
