Security screen - can't read white text very well

Win 7 installed and running well.

When I call up the task manager, the white text is hard to read against the pale blue background. Is there a way to change either the text or the pale blue background. It nice 'nuff, but not enough contrast to read.

    Thanks.

hmm, no white text in my task manager...

do you mean the full screen menu you get when you hit CTRL-ALT-DEL?

if you just want the task manager, use CTRL-SHIFT-ESC.

Yes, I do mean the full screen menu, when I press CTRL-ALT-DEL. It's a pale blue background (with a humming bird on it) and the window with the menu has white text. I think it's the standard splash screen that Win7 is using with CTRL-ALT-DEL command. The menu window that displays, has the same colours as the splash background, but the text is white and it's difficult to read.

    Hello Cowtoon,

You can apply step 2 in the tutorial below to have a darker shadow around the text on the Ctrl+Alt+Del Security Screen.

Log On Screen Text Shadow - Change

    Hope this helps,
