Don't have desktop widgets?

Every time I right click and try to enter gadgets the cursor spins for half a second and nothing happens.

I was able to use desktop gadgets fine with the leaked version of 7, now the official one doesn't have it.

Did they take it out?

Make sure UAC is enabled. If you disable it, gadgets won't work. Don't ask why... I already sent Microsoft some feedback on this.
