    Show Favorites in Windows Explorer

I am assuming that Favorites is inside of "Documents and Settings", which Win 7 does NOT allow me access.

Do I really have to Take Ownership of "Documents and Setting" and then reset the permissions?

I just can NOT fathom anyone in their right minds making "Documents and Settings" a systems folder to begin with, but alas they did.

Anyway I would like comments on how to show Favorites in Windows Explorer. Thank You

you'll find your internet favourites in c:\users\*your user name*\favorites

the 'Documents and Settings' folder is a sort of virtual folder put there by the OS so that old programs which rely on it will still work.

Antman has been kind enough to tell me that it's called a 'symbolic link'

    Thank You Mickey

Don't know why it did not find Favorites when I did a search on C-drive. I was able to do exactly what I wanted with your info.

    Thanks again
