ADVICE PLS: Very high vis mouse pointer

I use a very large 32x32 pixel mouse pointer in Win7
I would like the pointer to be permanently surrounded by a semi-transparent 'halo' of diameter 64 pixels
Is this possible ?

I've seen this halo effect used in training videos & I would like it available to me because of my failing vision

I note that there's an option in the mouse settings under the pointers tab to make a temporary circular 'ripple' appear around the pointer when the Ctrl key is pressed
I require a permanent, non-animated & coloured-in version that's always 'On'

I don't want to use the magnifier nor any other access options

Thank you !

Hi TBVNZ

That presentation program could be the answer (though it's overkill in terms of features), however I will keep looking in the hope of tracking down a no cost solution

Thank you for trying ~ I appreciate your effort

You're welcome Michael. You might want to give this program a try. I use it mostly to align graphics but it may suit your needs, especially if a hi-vis color is used, Mike Lin's Home Page

I can find a use for the xhairs in Paint.Net so thanks for that Mike
Also StartupMonitor looks useful to me ~ will see if it performs in Win7

Keep up the good work !

I missed the startup monitor, think I'll give it a try as well.

Mouse Pointer
Hello, I have Win7 for about a year now and I really didn't have any problems up until a few months ago. My mouse pointer would start refreshing/flickering every 5 minutes or so and it would slow down anything I was watching or playing at the time. It doesn't really bother me when I watch movies...
