Sure hope so, as your original post is over 5 years old, haha. I tend to post to threads relevant to an issue I'm having even if the original post is old, because people still end up visiting it via their Google search results (as I did) when it's their turn to have the problem (I say "when" not "if" because this is Windows after all  )

I've actually stayed away from Windows 10 on purpose, partly because I have so much history with Windows 7 and everything that entails in terms of familiarity, tricks, hacks, etc, partly because I'd rather wait for it to have been out a little longer, and partly just out of inertia. But I know I'll be switching at some point before Microsoft stops supporting 7. Like the day before. 
Ha!! I agree with you completely!!! I do the same unless the post is locked or closed or something...and for exactly the same reason!!!
Unfortunately, I took advantage of the Free Windows 10 Upgrade, just to get me serial. I went back to 7 but after trying 10 I liked a few new features so, I did a clean install and haven't looked back...

By the way, if you haven't gotten your free serial for 10, the normal Free Upgrade is over, but you can still get it "Legally" (lol) here: Access Denied it's for the assisted technology users. Which basically only means that you use the on screen keyboard, magnifier or one of the other tools someone might need for assistance...Don't worry, once it updates, you can go right back to 7. But make I retrieved my serial before I did, I used Belarc Advisor...Good Luck!
