Yes! I use a software for the same reason, called Fences.
Go for the free version, it can do everything you need. My personal advice is to not to give names for the fences at all, just click ok if it asks for a name.
When you have customized everything (at desktop > right click > Configure Fences) you can right click again and 'lock fences' under View.

    Hi ashimashi

Have a look at these links I think thats what your looking for
Stardock Corporation - Software - ObjectDock

Oh what I was looking for was rockduck!

    Thanks a lot.

But the second one also seems very nice. Might check that out as well!

    Thanks again. :)

Nexus is what I'm using at present.Very easy to set-up and other skins from rocket dock/object dock work fine. You can make them as plain or as over the top as you like.
I always go over the top

Actually sorry I have one more question.

I decided to use rocketdock but there is just one problem with it. I always use the show desktop button that is in the bottom right corner. Whenever I press that rocketdock disappears. Is there a way to make it stick?

Ah you got me there not too sure about rocket dock im not familiar with its settings but I can say nexus and object dock stay visible when you press the show desktop button so I would guess it would be there somewhere in the settings.

Edit - Found these 2 threads may help

Possible to change the new "Show Desktop"?

i use objectdock and have it set on the top of the screen and on autohide however after testing for you i can say that the dock stays onscreen when the show desktop button is clicked, personally i would use objectdock and it does exactly the same thing as rockduck but it will stay on top of desktop which is what you want.
