Well, you have to show us what it's telling you, the sfc /scannow result!

Do you want the SFC log? Or just what it says when it can't fix it because it justs says some files are corrupted that are unable to be repaired. I tried doing the repair install but during the compatability test. It says I can't upgrade to 32-bit from 64-bit and it also says I can't upgrade from 64-bit to a 32-bit even though I selected the 64-bit version during the repair install.

This W7HPx64 machine I'm typing from now just had its calendar gadget go "blank" on this logon. So with one user it's good, with another it's not.

Methinks Windows Gadget Platform has some bugs in it!

I have the same issue on my new Dell XPS. The calendar gadget simply will not display properly. I just found a different calendar gadget. My Inspiron laptop (also 64-bit 7) doesn't have the problem.

Don't waste a whole bunch of time on something like that - it ain't the O/S. It's a bug somewhere in the gadget. If you REALLY care about it, find the vendor that built the calendar and submit a bug report - let him troubleshoot it.
