    Please help with start orb creation !!


    I followed the all details of this tutorial : How to Create Custom Start Orb Image And I made my own orb !! But when I apply the orb it comes a little brighter !! See the images and please help me with this !! I really want to know how to do my own orbs !! Thanks !! l

    You may try this one as your background .. 1111.zip . The zip contains an alpha channel ready bmp file . If the extra brightness is a result of making alpha channel wrongly, it will not occur with this one , I hope .

    May you upload the cube image that you are using .... so that I can judge what is going wrong with it ?

    Here is how it looks on my taskbar ....

    So the image is OK ... I guess you are somehow applying some inner glow on the normal state ?

    Probably !! I will try again !! Specially with no effects and glows !! Just the simple image !
