    Optimizing screen saver speed

I use the picturers folder to display as my screen saver. In Windows XP I could control the dispaly speed of the pictures. In Windows 7 the three settings of Fast, Medium, and Slow are too fast. In the changing pictures option of SLOW it is still too fast to enjoy each picture. Has anyone figured a way to slow this down further?

Here's a work-around: Select the Pan and Zoom option which slows the screensaver down. It slows even more if you resize the image so that it's wider than it was --- because the 'Pan' function takes longer to pan from edge to edge.

    Optimizing screen saver speed

I appreciate the first reply but for some reason I can not locate the "Pan and Zoom" setting or election. Probably very obvious but somewhere it eludes me. Help please. Booktrvler

Right-click Desktop, Personalize, ScreenSaver, select Photos, Settings, under 'Use this theme' select Pan and Zoom (And select Slow, of course, for the speed setting.)
