Changing the background in a window?

I read the tutorial, and unless I missed it, then it is not there. Link here......

Basically I want to change the color of the background in the window that appears when you click on a folder. And can I do custom Backgrounds for individual folder windows?

Yes, that is what I am talking about.

The previous poster doesn't have a lot of rep so I won't use it. Has anyone else used it? Can anyone verify it is safe?

You should not go by the number of reps. A new mew member or a member that does not log in very often may still know a lot about the system or a particular area.

You could try that program that young man has made some very good programs.
First I would make a System Restore Point - Create so if something goes wrong you can go back.
    Or
If you are using the default aero theme I can change that for you. All I need is a color and a name for the theme and I can post it in zip folder here for you.
If you are using a custom theme you will need to ask the theme maker. It's not cool to change someone else work.
    &
You will need to do 1 of these 2 ways of Enabling custom themes for it to work.
Enabling Custom Themes - Windows 7
    Or
Theme - How to Apply Custom Themes
    Let me know
