what do you mean by fully transparent?

the stripes and end blurs can be removed, but i don't think anyone has figured out how to remove the blur yet...

    You could try

Transparency - Enable Full Clear Glass Transparency

but i'm not sure if it works for the taskbar. It should do as it's all glass

we've already got fully transparent windows courtesy of Brink , the only problem with that is it's either FULLY clear or it isn't. so a fix for that so the user decides how see-thru he wants it it wouldn't be a bad idea

anyway, i want it for the superbar and start menu like this guy wants.

    Transparent Taskbar using Classic Shell

I too have been trying heaps of different ways in making the taskbar transparent, and although Windows 7 has Aero, it is not quite the same as you can still see the bar across in a light colour. I found this free program "Classic Shell" which is easy to use and the result is exactly what I have been looking for. Here is a screen-shot of the result.
(The desktop picture is not part of the transparent taskbar.)
