Animated Avatars are generally gif files and are 100 x 100
pixels and or 100Kb(whichever is smaller).
Per info in edit Avatar requirements.

Rowan, I'd be very proud on myself if this one you made had been made by me . Kudos to you. Dom also was 13 when he achieved a high efficiency, so age is not a factor, the only thing is willingness to do a good job.

You are rightly advised to not think about reps ... one day a time will come when you will be astonished seeing your rep count .... if you continue posting good stuff, and help others with your expertise of customization.

Finally, if you have some spare time, can you make one for me, too ?

On thing that has been bugging me is my Avatar. I would like a animated one, but im really stumped on where to get one that matches mine. I've tried creating my own on adobe Flash CS5.5 but I really can't do it :L Any Ideas?
    Thanks,
    Rowan
Personally, I think that Photoshop CS5 has great animation features :) Which version of Photoshop do you have? It takes a long time (well it does for me anyway!) to make an animated photo - be it an avatar or a sig, but it's worth it. I can try and teach you a bit of animation if you're interested? I'm sure you'll be making animated sigs/avatars in no time at all :) Just a tip, don't overcomplicate things. I made this sig for Athene a while back and it ended up exceeding the file size limit by about 3000% if I remember correctly Luckily Archie came to the rescue and shrunk it down for me!

Yeah sure Arche! After all, its the least I could to for you, seen as you gave me a render of the 7forums logo. I will definately have it done by tonight or tommorow, by the way... any ideas on how you would like it? like colours, any specific text on it (Except GFX Team, I already know that )etc. Please reply as soon as possible,
