Any System Monitor Gadgets that DON'T have a memory leak?

    Yeah, all gadgets run under sidebar.exe in the taskmanager. For each one you add, it gets bigger. When I first noticed the memory leak, I went through and closed all of the gadgets that were running.

    Sidebar.exe will vanish from your Task manager and then you can start one gadget at a time, watching the ram to see if that gadget continuously makes the sidebar.exe's RAM get bigger and bigger.

    I did not know that about the sidebar; I seem to recall having to install it separately, though that may have been during the beta period.

    As far as I know, this is correct. All the gadgets run under the sidebar.exe process. The more you run, the larger the process is.

    Have you thought about http://rainmeter.net/cms/ there are all kinds of skins out there and it is very customizable.
    Here is one skin I have that I think has what you're looking.
