    Windows 7 Sidebar has disappeared

I'm using Windows 7 RC 64bit build 7100, every time I start windows or try to start the sidebar.exe it shows up in the process for about seven seconds before disappearing again with no error code or anything.

I have tried this fix in command prompt without success:
    Regsvr32 atl.dll [enter]
    Regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sbdrop.dll" [enter]
    Regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\wlsrvc.dll" [enter]

    Here is my rig information:
Processor: AMD Althlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+
    RAM: DDR2 8.0GB 800MHZ NON ECC CL5
Graphic Card: XFX Nividia Geforce 8600GTS 256MB XXX

I looked into the Event Viewer and found this entry:

There is no sidebar with Windows 7. Each gadget can be run indivdually now and placed where ever you want on the desktop. You just need to right click with the mouse then select Gadgets from the list. That will open up a selection of Gadgets to choose from or you can go online and find some more of them.

By sidebar he might mean sidebar.exe. he is showing an event viewer id 1000 source and I have run into that a couple of times on early rev's of win 7.

I remember with the early builds of Win7 having to hack the sidebar files just to get it to open when UAC was turned off.

Seems like he was trying to start the sidebar by using the sidebar.exe which is more or less how Vista used to work. So I thought he might have been confused on how the new sidebar works. The 7100 had so many bugs he might be better off going with a newer build.

A newer build is available? I am aware of the way the gadgets work I was referring to the process named "sidebar.exe" but thanks for the help.
