    Taskbar running programs acting differently

    Taskbar acting weird :

I don't exactly know what made it change to this way but I think it has something to do with Advance SystemCare application. I had done Turbo Boost on my system.

Why does it take the full taskbar when only one application is running
    Please help.

    Welcome to the Seven Forums
I have never seen that before I would recommend uninstalling Advanced SystemCare and Turbo Boost and see if that helps.
If you can do a system restore to an earlier point before this started System Restore
You also may want to try Option 2 in this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker it will not harm any data for programs that you have it will check for corrupt system files and try to repair them. If you have altered any system files to customize your system they will be lost.

One more point ... if Advanced system care made any registry backups, restore all those . After those steps, report back with results .

Windows 7 does not need any third party registry cleaner .... those programs dont help a lot, but cause various problems . Dont touch the registry hive without being sure what are you doing . The only registry cleaner that is recommended is CCleaner .

Well frankly I'm a geek myself and I did do my homework before coming here for some help to ask with the Guru's anyhow :

    - I had done before System-Restore it didn't helped. X
    - Uninstalling doesn't help. X
    - Its not the system files for sure my friend anyhow I just did it and it said "did not find any integrity violations".

I might have just tweaked the taskbar somewhere that I need to find out now.

@Arc maybe I'm just curious to see all the registery errors being fixed, makes my eyes and mind feel that all things are working correctly

Hello User28, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might check using the tutorial below to see if the MinWidth string value may have been added to the registry location in the tutorial, and may be affecting the taskbar button width. If it has, then delete it.

Taskbar - Change Icon Button Width Size

    Hope this helps,
