Problem with Desktop Background Picture Position

I have discovered a frustrating problem when i attempt to customise my desktop background. While i have had no problems selecting the desired images or an problems with the slideshow itself i an unable to alter the picture position, meaning that the picture position is permanently on stretch which distorted the pictures. I select Centre from the drop down bar and then save the changes but it makes no difference, the pictures remain stretched and when i re-open the Desktop Background menu the Picture Position has reverted to Stretch.

    Any assistance would be appreciated

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums!

The way you want to set your wallpaper is by openning windows explorer and browsing your image. Then right click on it and select 'Set as desktop background'.

Also make sure that your image is in jpg format. Now go back to the customization window and select option Centre, or whichever you wish.

It always helps if the image is the same size as your screen resolution. Try using one of the many online image re sizer's to alter the size of the image and try it again.
