You can create your own shortcuts https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...r-program.html

You can also remove the shortcut arrow with this Shortcut Arrow - Change, Remove, or Restore

You can change the icon with this Shortcut - Change Icon

I think he means something like a 2nd page (or more) for the desktop/shortcuts, similar to Chrome's new New Tab page and the menus of Droid and other Apple devices, with those little circle (a bit above the dock) as a "page" indicator/switcher.

Off the top of my head, I don't know any app that has that feature, except maybe Rainmeter (not there by default; you'll have to make your custom skin).

This screenshot is called a launchpad . I have never tried those, but you will get some ideas from the links below.

Get Mac OS X Lion Launchpad In Windows 7 With iPad Launcher
Download Mac OS X Lions Launchpad for Windows 7 | The Windows Club

As I told earlier, I have never tried those, so I dont know whether they will go to the second page (as it is done in Mac) ; but these are the most popular launchpad clones for windows.

EDIT : Just found the post https://www.sevenforums.com/customiza...ndows-7-a.html . Thanks to A Guy :)

Check out dexpot. Dexpot - The utility for virtual desktops.

I used it for a while, it's similar to the multiple desktop feature of Linux.
