Windows 7 Custom Theme's Text Color

Hello. So I am very new to the customizing task and am really only attempting it for 1 reason. My brother is a pancreatic cancer survivor and I building a custom theme for him as a gift. I have modified all the images in the DeathStar.msstyle to display as "Purple" instead of "Red" (purple is the Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Color).

Everything looks awesom with the costom wallpaper I made for him and the use of rainmeter and rocketdock, but I have run into a snag and have been stuck on it for 2 days now and just cant seem to find the answer.

I am unable to modify the font color of the items listed in Explorer's Toolbar (left pane) and the font color in the colums of "Details View." There are also a few other places red shows up that I cannot find the codes for such as when some buttons are clicked, the text turns red.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Welcome to the Seven Forums
What are you using to edit the theme?
I use Windows Style Builder Ave's Windows7 Style Builder to edit themes and all them text colors can be edited with it.
If you purchase it I can help you find them locations.
The only other way would be to contact the theme maker and asked them to change the text colors for you it's not cool to change somebody else's work and then distribute it but you can do it for your own use.
Let me know if I can help.

I have Restorator 2009 and Photoshop. I do not plan on distributin the theme, it is literally just for my brother's computer. So far my modifications are simply just opening the png files, selecting anything red and changing the Hue to make it purple.

As far as I know you cannot change the text colors using Restorator there may be a way to hex edit them but I don't know how to do that either.
I would like to change the text colors for you but then I would be redistributing it to you which is not fair to the theme maker like I said above ask the theme maker and see if they will change the text colors.

I originally found it on another site before I learned who the author was.

Have you thought about downloading it from the link I provided? The text is a lot easier to read

When I went through it and changed everything with a red color to purple and then saved, when I launed the theme it acted like the png files were missing. The task bar graphics were missing as well as a few other areas.

I have grabbed the original theme now, a few areas are cleaner, yet I still have the same font color problems. once I can figure this area out and get word / outlook / notepad to display white with black text for readability, I think I am going to be done with theme editing for a while, this has turned into one heck of a challenge.

    edit:

After uninstalling and re-installing Windows Style Builder, I have successfully been able to chage all font colors expect for the Properties section (bottom)
