You can do the change using this tutorial : Drive Icon - Change

Alternatively, if you can follow it ... you may have a try ... Icons - Change Using Resource Hacker .

Arc, In step 1. of the tutorial I set to show file extentions but I cannot get past step#2. When I click open drive D I get a message to please insert a disk in drive D. I don't see the images displayed in Step3. Don't know what the problem is.

Hi I was wondering if I could get some help. I'm using Bongo's .dll's for the black folders (found on page 19)but I have some folders that didn't change. Any help would be great.
I did notice that when I uploaded this pic, that when I browsed for it all the folder were changed the way they were suppose to be, except a couple folders on the desktop.

I suggest resetting your Icon Cache or removing and then readding the favourites.

I have not tried using his .dll so do not know the results.

As these are folders, one more thing is required, that is Thumbnail Cache - Clear and Reset .

Well for the thumbnail cache, I clear that every time I run disk cleaner once a week and that didn't work. The folders are changing to the new ones but they are doing it slowly and randomly.
Like the folder inside the download folder has changed, the folders inside the pictures have changed, and the one in side the movies has changed. so I just don't get it.
I have restarted, shut down, logged off, and restarted explorer and nothing.
