    Adding items to extended context menu

    In the past I have used ShellMenuView to do this but for some reason I can't find the entries in there. How would I go about changing it so it comes up when I press Shift + Right Click?

    Hello mkr10001,

    Was there any specific ones that you wanted to change?

    For now, you could edit the REG files in this tutorial below to see how with the Extended string value for the Open Command Window Here context menu item as an example.

    Open Command Window Here - Add or Remove Shift + Right Click

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

    I downloaded a couple of file unlocking programs, sometimes windows won't let me move files. I have 'UnlockMe' and 'Free File Unlocker' I haven't decided which is most suitable yet so for now I'd like both on there.

    I couldn't get it to work with Free File Unlocker, but downloading and merging the REG file below change it so that you must press Shift+right click to see UnlockMe in the context menu.

    This is what's in the .reg file.

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\Unlock Me]
    "Extended"=""
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell\Unlock Me
    "Extended"=""
    Hope this helps some. :)

    Hmm still shows up without pressing shift. I had a look before i merged and there wasn't an UnlockMe entry in that location

    Ah, ok. I couldn't get that one to change.

    The REG file below will undo what the one I posted above added to the registry.
