Thanks for that video, Nick. That explains a lot. The only problem I'm having is making the background transparent. I can only turn it into a colour...

Just click on the create new layer button, it will create a new transparent layer

I think his size is limited because he has only 136 posts, the sig size will increase with time after posting some more

What do you use to create these awesome signatures?

I personally use Photoshop CS5. Some other GFX designers here use Corel Draw.
