    Thanks Dennis :)
I donated it back as I have a laptop already so I asked them to raffle it off for a charity of my choice (I chose MS by the way pal) they said they would get back to me on how much they raised.

    PooMan,
Could have used this photo to incorporate your logo.

Congrats on your unique logo, Nick! Stylish and elegant - as always!

In the meantime... a signature with organ pipes. I had always wanted to create a sig involving a pipe organ/church organ and after lots of research, photographing a local church organ, designing, deleting and other oddities, I finally managed to produce...an oddity. So, good night everyone!

entered a competition last week from one of our local newspapers for a laugh, to create a logo for a local business (there's a bit more on the right but I can't show it because of the address and stuff) ... winner gets a laptop..... I won .....

During the presentation I was then told I was the only one who entered
You may have created a monster new job for yourself.
    Good job Athene!

    Nicely done Athene.
Before you sign off for the evening would you be so kind as to play a tune on the organ
so I can node off for the night?

Thanks for the kind words, everyone :-D It was a real challenge making the sig, because I had no idea how to incorporate a huge object like a pipe organ into a small image... in addition, church organs have a bewildering variety of construction (layout, organ cases etc.), so I decided to leave out the case and just stick with generic pipes.

Dennis, here are two pieces of music (and no, I cannot play the organ - only the violin); one is extremely lively and the other is very spiritual, usually played around Pentecost, and (in my opinion) perfectly suitable for "everyday use"

Warning: do not crank up the volume too much. The bass (pedal) notes of the organ really thunder into your ears...!

Will have you play the violin to gently guide me into a nice nights sleep.
