Hiya Nick, Have you taken spelling lessons from Arc?

I am unsure about the text shadowing on a vehicle, may not look right in person? I suppose those ar the company colors, but maybe some greens and blues would punch it up some.

Ripped metal looks great! for the back behind the eagle how about something that looks like the inside of the van, tools, shelves, etc.

Soz this is a bit off topic, but I need some opinions. :)
A local sign company that I do some designs for have asked me to design some layouts for their new vehicles. The only request is that I stick with their font and colours but they want something a bit snazzy to show off their full colour livery prints.
I came up with this idea of a eagle logo I designed behind some ripped steel. Any thoughts would be appreciated
This is still a work in progress and is a bit rough, there is also still loads of detail to add like Tel No.s etc ... so don't be shy if you think it looks crap, but the public are often the best critics....

    Thanks

    Nick
I think it looks very nice and I'm guessing the contact details will go in the empty space around the middle/bottom.

    Very nice job.

Not to sure what you mean about the spelling
It's funny you mentioned showing the tools and inside stuff because the first design actually did have this, but they asked me to remove them
Unfortunately they are very strict about the colours but I think your right, more colours might have a grater impact.

I know you said it was only rough but the first e where it meets the ripped metal doesn't look real, it might just be me lol but i don't think it currently looks natural?

overall i don't mind it as i personally like simple but good looking designs, sometimes i feel too much can be done in less important areas which can take peoples attention away from the advertising factor if that makes sense ha ha

After reading the text over and over again, I've finally spotted it. You never know Nick, the solution could be right under your nose

Other than that, it looks great! I really like the ripped metal effect but it's a shame they wont let you put the shelves in it - things like the Walkers truck are great:

Yeah I know what you mean.... I designed a KitKat van once showing the guys in the back of the van as if the back doors were taken off taking a "break" and eating the kitkat chocolate, came out really cool :)
