I just want to show you geeks how good work these guys do. Took MrGrim's Win7 shield and TheBulls orbs on my background idea and this is how my logon screen looks. I really like it:

Win7 installed on Sun VirtualBOX vhd and then print screen on host machine. Because I'm still using RC, not the final product, and I've learned to be careful I install new software and test changes always first on this virtual hard drive.

I think using vhd is the only way to make a logon screenshot, at least I have never heard of any other method.

Ok, I'm confused...AGAIN. Sorry guys, I'm a complete noob at editing system files.

I'm using Restorator, I open up explorer.exe and I find the 6801, 6805, and 6809 .bmp files. However, in Resource Tuner, there was an option to "Edit Resource," seen here:
In Resource Tuner select “Edit Resource” to add the edited image. (Important: the filename has to be the same as the original file)
In Restorator, I don't see an "Edit Resource" button. What's the equivalent button in Restorator?

You don't need it, just drag the image onto the corresponding resource in the left pane and it will replace it and you should notice the image change in the right pane and there will be a small arrow on the resource to signify the changed resource and save and your done.

Make sure you have taken ownership of explorer first and given yourself full permissions, you will also need to open taskmanager while still in Restorator and kill the explorer process and then you can save without it being in use.

Then go back to taskmanager and select new task and type explorer and hit enter, and your done, couldn't be easier.

Looks nice, don't like the coat of arms though. Colors are good though but I'd like to see the correct colors. Don't know if they'll be too much of an eyesore, if they are I'll take the black one. Oh and Mr Grim, I just installed your black icon pack, very nice. :P
