This is how I did it mate,

· Take the PNG image you have for your start orb (Remember it must have a transparent background) , and save it as a BMP image.(Size must be 54X162)
· Now you have 2 images, the PNG image and the BMP image.
· Open the saved BMP and thePNG file in PS.
· Select the PNG and copy & paste it over onto the BMP. (Make sure you align it properly.)
· 'Select all' using the RectangularMarquee Tool.
· Press "ctrl + right mouse click, and choose "background".
· Press "Delete or Del".
· Use the 'Paint Bucket tool' and make the entire background black
· Save it as BMP, and overwrite the previous BMP file.
