Bull one quick question - is there a way to make the peace sign and ying yang orbs show without the white background? The rebel one is fine. The start orbs are also good.

They are on a transparant background already. Maybe just use them as PNG's and not JPEG's. Try that!

Strange mate, by my side they are transparant!

no problem - just reformatted and reinstalled yesterday - never know maybe after a few reboots it will correct itself. stranger things have happened.
I am also using the elegant grey uxtheme - that may have something to do with it.
