    Windows Sideshow Missing ?

    Hi !!

    Here is my problem...

If i have to rename a big file, movie file to be exact, it hangs there ,explorer is kinda not responding. After maybe 15-20 seconds i get an error telling me that the file is used by another process. Now , every time this happens after a fresh install i just disable everything in the windows sideshow. I use a Logitech G510 for a keyboard and it has a little screen that gives you info on the media playing on your pc. It uses Sideshow so i just disable it and the problem is solved.

I had to format this week because of Acronis ... kinda screwed up my boot files and could not recover anything. But now , after the install ,the windows sideshow icon is not present in the control panel.

I did enable ( to disable ) it in the local security policy settings but still it acts the same , like sideshow is still active.

    Any ideas ??

    Thanks
