    Hi Nick,

    That's a really nice background; how can one create a "tile" out of it so that one can turn it into a pattern without it getting darker/changing shades? I think it would make a very nice background/pattern for a sig

    What I like about Corel Draw Suite is you can take Nicks wall and grab a piece of it from one of its
    shaping tools.


    Here is a 650 x 150 of his background.

    Edit: Just tried it out, and it's not quite what I want...the holes are too big...What I meant is: a tile like this:



    And then, when used as a pattern, it's like this:


    And I don't know how to do it with Nick's wallpaper I tried, but I can't get the holes quite right

    What is it that you are trying to achieve ?

    You can use the texture to make more or less any size background, big or small circles

    Yes, that's the kind of effect I'm trying to get at - thanks for the great help

    @Dennis: I get nervous searching for graphics material on the web - one never knows with bugs, and then one also has to be careful about copyright and licencing...so I pretty much avoid rustling stuff up on the net
