OMG speed we had the same idea!! LMAO this is what I came up with and I SWEAR I didnt see your post till now!!! AND I was gonna use that exact same comp with win7 logo too!! LMAO!
I am using the normal task bar default settings , my resolution is is 1920x1080 and i prefer the glossy look that beman man made but benman could you please attempt to make a smaller windows 7 logo that is higher res i dont care about file size

So relay nice effort guys but:
Speed could you make it more glossy and get the designed for logo instead of the compatible with if it exists if not just make it glossy

Bedman36 could you change the windows seven text to a smaller (somewhat) text and make it more high res (the windows 7 text and logo)

(Jaw dropping) amazing thank you so much you just made my day,
But sadly i have one more request :) i know i probably ask too much but could you try to keep it the same but change the windows 7 logo to the previous one just to check which is better (keep the glare its brilliant)

Also when i download it should i download it as a bitmap or a jpg to get max quality or can you just upload it as a png

I ask because im a noob when it comes to digital images

Click on the little image so it becomes bigger and then right click and save as... This should save it as the original image that i uploaded (jpg). Also this is the best jpg possible which is fairly close to the lossless png compression. Otherwise if you set it as a wallpaper windows would convert png to very low quality jpg, but if the source is jpg it will leave it how it is. When you set the wallpaper do it from windows explorer via the right click menu.

I had to adjust the reflection on the srs logo, because it would have looked somewhat unequal.

edit: the top one is the older one
