Not sure about any Grim Reaper themes - if you want one done by sergiogarcia, he is banned from this forum, and if you want one done by someone else, it would take a lot of work to make one.

thanks for that link dom,i am new to all this customisation. one thing i do not understand is why does the start menu and icons on the desktop not change when applying a theme? i followed that link you gave and used the patcher on the annihilator theme. trouble is the icons on the start menu and the icons on the desktop are the same as before. are they not meant to change or is it something i forgot to do? all help appreciated.

You have to replace the supplied explorer.dll (and explorerframe.dll and others, if supplied) with your own one.
Take a manual backup of your original dll files before replacing.
To replace, you can use this tool: System File Replacer by xuliikoo in Deviant Art. Download it here.

If you are interested to dig a bit, why...can read this thread; its not direct answer, but you will understand how a third party theme (or visual style) is created; I mean the architecture...Master Tutorial for creating own "third party" theme
