    Invisible folder problem.

Now,I know that Windows never intended us to make invisible folders, but one can't just sit there and not do it,when one can.
So,I've seen some tutorials on how to make invisible folders,by changing the icon to a blank one,and by naming it with an invisible symbol(alt+0160).
Now,my only problem is that, whenever I set the blank icon, the icon of the folder just turns black...
Any suggestions on how to make it transparrent?
    Thanks in advance.

    Try this:

    Start> In search box type

Adjust the appearance and performance of windows

    Enter

On the Visual Effects tab, you want to untick

Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop

Apply and OK your way out. I think there will always be an outline though. You can hide it behind a gadget if you use them. Drag the gadget out of it's normal place. Put the "invisible" folder there, and move the gadget back into place
