    Context menu shortcut add ons.

Add Device Manager, Control Panel, Add Remove Programs Options in Desktop Context Menu in Vista and Windows 7

In Windows vista and 7, you can add your desired application shortcuts in Desktop context menu (the menu which appears when you right-click).

To add these useful shortcuts, just download following zip file, extract it and then run the .REG file:

Indeed, cool one. This way by looking into the reg file, we can learn more an how to do it manually as well.

Mr Grim, thanks for your efforts here. Although sorry to say that I tend to avoid context menu features. Nevermind, we all work in different ways.
One observation is that System Tools is missing from your list. I always have trouble finding System Tools (esp when working on other folks PCs).
Thanks for making handy tools for us :)

    RE:Context Menus

    Thanks for that Mr Grim.

Just wondering if theres a way to put an internet browser (firefox or IE8) on the context menu in desktop.

Also is there anyway to put google on a context menu in firefox or IE8?

I have tried to add Device Manager with contextMenuTweaker but devmgmt.msc when added causes a win32 error.

Mr. Grim how did you get the device manager to work. I have gotten Task maanger and control panel no problem.

    TIA

this thread is from jan-feb and probably not many ppl will be looking at it. You would probably get more response if you started a new thread with your individual problems
