Moving library folder locations mistake, help!
Hi,
I recently repartitioned my new laptop so the OS is on the C drive and I'd like all the User/Library stuff on the D drive.
It all seems to have gone well except for the Music folder which was the first one I did.
I was following this guide;
Redirect a folder to a new location
and moved the My Music folder directly to the D drive without creating a new folder for it. When I tried to do the same with the My Pictures folder it threw up a warning, so I then found THIS guide;
User Folders - Change Default Location
I followed that for the remaining folders and they all seem fine and tidy now.
However, I think I made a bit of a hash with the Music folder as, when I open it in library it shows all the other folders I have on the D drive! Not good!
Hopefully, if I haven't explained this well, the attached screenshots will do a better job!
What I really need to know is, is there a way to undo this?
Thanks for reading.
