    yep that was all it was. i figured the site automatically set the res for me.... guess that's not the case. i always make originals extremely high res. cool

    Koolkate77 i should have noticed that when i was comparing your sig to mine to figure out what was wrong. Ive been trying to figure this out for the last two hours lol

    FaberTech, It is not possible to judge the resolution of an applied sig. But if your applied sig crossed the permissible limits, then forum software will resize it by itself, and you will loss the transiency.

    Go to the page edit signature .... and see what is the maximum size allowed. Stay within it. It will be ok.

    i know. that's why i was confused. because it worked anyway. I just didn't think about it. I dont really mind one way or another about the resolution. its a small image anyway. thanks for the help guys and yes A Guy, i appreciate the redirection. I forgot all about this thread.

    okay so i hardly ever use Photoshop, and i mean barely to do this kind of stuff, but I am tired of playing around with my sig so i am done with it. Thanks again for your help guys
