Dom made me this, it's somewhat what you describe.

He's rarely around anymore though. A Guy

Sk0t0s, thanx that is close to what I want, I will try it.

Tom982- I ocasionally still use gimp, but went back to correl paint(I understand it better) but lately my sigs with the new text, the cracks and so on was made wit CS5.

Mainly I I want a pic of say and ocean with sand bottom, and skies top, then addmthe usable pic in the middle and make it look like it was taken as a photo. When I get to my pc, I will upload a paint pic of what I ment
Ah okay, fair enough. Similarly, I tried CorelDraw a few months ago, but I couldn't face learning how to use a different interface.

So a little bit like the first sig that you had? With the underwater PC?

Okay, here is exactly what I want, but instead of the heart, it should be this chassis(pic 2) However,I have been struggling to do this for a great while, so I think I will give up,and just put a request in on the custom wallpaper site, but I think to make this will be pretty imposable. (Iresized the heart ice pic so I could upload it.)

Edit, the last pic,is what I wanted to do now, since I cant do the ice thing, but the ice thing was my main goal.

If you want, I can put the PC in the ice cube for you? Then you can put the ice cube in the sea. Well, I should be able to do it all for you, but you won't learn as well that way :) Whatever you want really, just let me know.

....Honestly, I dont want to learn how to do that, but I wont suggest you try it, cause I will be very strict on it, and if its not right you will need to redo it, so basically it will be like school haha, but seriously, If you can put the chassis into the ice block with the melted effect, and the reflection in the water, and basically make it look exactly like the wallpaper of the heart, same color, shape, look and so on, then please by all means try, I'd would very much appreciate it, and it shouldn't be in water,it should just look like in the first pic. The in water thing,I want to try for a sig at a later stage.

ps. If possible can you make the wallpaper 1920x1080. And I realize asking that it looks exactly like the heart pic is asking way too much, but I've been trying to get/make a wallpaper like this for what feels like ages.
Thanx very much for being willing to give it a go.

No worries then :) Just thought you might want to know how to do it in future. I'm going to have to follow a tutorial for this, I've never done any 3D work in Photoshop before (well, not with the 3D panel anyway) but I'll see how it comes out :)

The final image in the tutorial is this:

It's a little different from the example that you gave, but IMO, it looks more realistic.

There's nothing wrong with you wanting it to look perfect :) I'll see what it comes out like, I don't know, it may be way out of my capabilities. We'll soon see! I'll keep you posted.

THANK YOU very much for giving it a shot, that pic looks good, but if you can make that and still get it to look like oit has the water on the ground. Because what I like about the heart pic, is it looks flowy,by that I mean the water on the ground looks thick like paint, and the colors are rich and deap, I am not sure how to describe it, but it looks like it was painted in real life or something. Anyway thank you again verry much for doing this!!! Maybe if the "ice" in the pic you gave can be a little mor blueish, anyway thatx again mate, I really appreciate this!

This was what I wanted to try Create a Fictional Arctic Snow Frog in Photoshop | Psdtuts+.

But it was way out of my skill, but If its possable, can you just broze quickly through this tutorial, all I want from it is the same background, and the ice effect on the frog should be on some parts of the chassis that will stick out( I know it makes no sence when you read this, but if you see the tutorial you will no what I meant) and again thank you very much for doing this!!

Sure, I'll do it bit by bit and check with you as I go along just to make sure it's okay before I move to the next stage. I'll see what I can do about the blue ice. No worries, glad I can help :)

Thanks for the link, that'll make the BG a lot easier. I'll get this ice cube done first, then move onto this tutorial.
