How to change fonts for menus and change --->

I'm looking for a way to change the background color of windows, menu fonts, etc. In XP there was a way to right click on desktop and go into advance display settings. Can someone point me the way on how to do this in 7? Thanks

I just noticed it did change some program background window colors, but not elements like the mycomputer background. When you say "not fully reflected" that's what you're referring to right?

after playing around with it I realized that's what you meant. Do you know if any of the other themes allow background color changes in folders like "my computer"

I also, lose the aero style preview (peek?) at the bottom, do any themes that you know of allow this function while at the same time changing background colors to "all" folders? I know it seems nitpicky, but it really helps my eyes...

I don't play with themes and the like. However, some apps do reflect the color change That I made to either Desktop, app background or window.

One of the reasons that I usually do not run Aero is the lack of color control. I am on 6 week run to force myself to adjust to it. Remember, Aero occurs in the GPU - so some restrictions aren't controlled by Windows, exactly.
