Yes, it is from any third party theme.

Yeah it all went funny after I installed a theme. I have also recently created a new user account because I thought that might solve the problem but it is still here
Does anybody know how to sort it out and get it back to normal? thanks :)

First, back to default aero. If it is still there, then there are some modifications in the system files. To revert them back to normal, run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker , and restart your computer to apply the changes.

    Let us know the results.

If its from 3rd party program you must check the program first if it has restore to default option.

Or try to use other themes from windows seven.

    Edit:

or try what Arc has suggested.

Please make it clear :) You cannot run Sfc scan, or SFC scan does not fix your issue ?
