In my opinion, you'd do better to upgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Home Premium.

Buy and download Windows Anytime Upgrade: Windows 7 Starter to Home Premium - Upgrade your Windows 7 - Microsoft Store Online

Your computer will only use one browser if you only have one browser installed.

What is the one program that you only want to use? Anything you don't want, just uninstall it.

If you don't want anyone else to have access to your computer then password protect it.

Laptop is for only one purpose and that is one browser and one program i just want to have these option and i like you, you write back and give me that options.

the reason i want to disable alot of windows 7 functionality is because its an small laptop with Atom CPU and 1 GB RAM and its so super slow and by disable some it well be faster, dont you think seavixen32 ?-)

The problem you are faced with is that you have a basic operating system and computer, so whatever you uninstall is going to have little effect, if any, performance-wise.

If you want a more pleasurable computing experience you really need to save up for a better computer.

In the meantime, check out this tutorial, which explains how to optimize Windows 7 for better performance.
