    restore my login screen, sound and icons


    i have installed the ubuntu skinpack 9.0 from Skin Pack
    but after uninstalling it i am not able to get my default windows 7 login sound and icons....

    Hello Ajit ! Welcome to the forums :)

    First you try SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker andlet us know if it can solve the issue or not.

    I tried this command but after 12% completion it shows a message that "windows resource protection could not perform this operation".........

    problem is still same..... i am not getting my windows 7 login screen and tray icons

    Do you have User Account Control on ? At first make it sure that UAC is on.

    Then , try SFC /SCANNOW : Run in Command Prompt at Boot and see if it works or not.
