    Hi All

I would like to know how you can customize the thumbnail of any folder in Widnows 7? If I right click on a folder, it doesn't give me the option to choose my own icon for that folder.

I know how to change the default icon for all windows folder, but not for a single folder.

    Thank You

If you look at a folder via a library you don't get the customization tab. This is a folder via my documents library.

The same folder going via c:\users\keith\My Documents

@ Arc, yes I do know how to change the yellow folder throughout explorer, but when displaying as a thumbnail, it still shows the yellow icon looking as if it is paged through...Yours on the image appears black...When I switch to icon view only, only then I can see the customized icon instead of the yellow one, for all folders that is.

Well, this is a way to do it, but boohbah does it alternatively.
