So before I install Win7_64 onto my new mobo which is UEFI, I should just boot up the computer without the install media and go into the bios, and set it to legacy bios? I am assuming there are options for this in the UEFI bios? This will be my first UEFI install, so if this question seems foolish, please excuse my ignorance

Ralph I have done 3 new installs of w7 to boards with UEFI and the choice/option never came up. The installs proceeded as with any other board.

HAH! That's a Linux vs Windows one, I remember the linux/nt kernel wars of mid 2000. At some point even I was taking sides, but I grew up and realized that it does not matter what you use, rather what's right for you and what makes you happy
