    Remove "Highlights" on window headers

I would like to know how to rid myself of these horrid highlights. I despise them. I loath them. I wish them to die.

Anyway, I really don't like those highlights that present themselves on the title bar of windows. I've attached a picture, and what I am talking about is the diagonal streaks that run across the title bar. I am currently using the AeroLightning theme, as it is literally the only I can find as of now.

One more grievance: Why is there no color as intense as Graphite from vista in the color selection? I know you can choose the color but straight black is still not dark enough for me.

Don't know about the highlights (edit, turning off transparency does kinda remove them), but is this black enough:

Why dont you use a third party theme? They look pretty cool. You may have a lot of them here : Browsing Customization on deviantART .
But what you need is this : Soft7 1.8 for Windows 7 by ~AP-GRAPHIK on deviantART .
I hope you know how to install themes in win 7.
