Here are the installers for 7100 x64 and 7600 x86

7100 RC Black & Gold Icon Pack X64
    Download

7600 RTM Black & Gold Icon Pack X86
    Download

The files you need to delete are in the system32 and SysWOW64, the name of those files in both directories will be:

    imageres.dll.bak
    imagesp1.dll.bak
    shell32.dll.bak

OK I think I am going to need Generators help with this, he is the man who made the installers and I just modded one for the new set but I may have stuffed up somewhere.

Too add a little more info here, keep in mind that the glossy blue icons installed with no problems.

    Grimmy,

I am taking a look at the two install.cmd in WinMerge - you've missed a couple of Black and Gold substitutions for Blue / Ultimate, but other than that I cannot see anything wrong.

BTW, why is the 64bit one for build 7100 only and the 32bit for RTM?

    nm - found the original 7600 x64

I should probably get the original files that you modified - where are those, Grim?

Yeah, found it when I went searching back, thanks Sergio.

These icons look impressive. But I need to find the *original* files that Grimmy modified for this set so I can see what is going om there - using WinMerge, I can (should be able to anyway) find the error easily enough....

The "'Gold' is not recognized.." error is now fixed although that wouldn't effect the install. (The system picks up the '&' as a command in the packs title so it needed replacing with the word 'and'.)

@FyrmnJ: that screen will only appear if the backups still exist in your 'C:\windows\system32\' folder. re-check you have deleted them.

(there is a batch file included with the icons package in the 'Data' folder called 'UninstallCleanup.cmd' that deletes the files for you as mentioned in the readme.)
