    Icons Control Panel

Hello I Windows 7 RTM Ultimate
I try all the tips on your forum and I even took the register of Windows Vista. Without success, I always find the same size of the default icons Windows 7 Control panel. There must be some way. Thank you!!

Hello Max, and welcome to Seven Forums.

I'm not sure if you want to change the icon or the icon size. Please let me know if this is not what you are wanting to do.

If you want to change the Control Panel icons size, then you can change them to either small or large icons.

Control Panel View - Category or Icons

If you wanted to change one of the icons itself, then be sure that you are using a 256x256 pixel .ico when using the tutorial below. It will not work otherwise.

Hello, I want not change icons. I want to change the size like in Windows Vista. In the upper right in categories gives too little.

    Max,

By default you can only change the Control Panel to either have small or large icons.

Control Panel View - Category or Icons

A workaround is to create a new folder somewhere, and create shortcuts (right click) of each Control Panel icon that you want. Place these new shortcuts into the new folder, then move the new folder where you like for easy use. For example, have the new folder pinned to the taskbar to make it easy to open. This way you can adjust all of the icons size like you would any icon in Windows Explorer. :)
