    Start Menu Broken (visually)

Hey guys, Ive been themeing for quite sometime and just recently I came across a visual issue with my start menu. I have attached an image:

See how on the right side there is no edge? This issue doesnt go away. I have put the original back up explorer.exe back as well as the explorerframe.dll

Maybe the backups arent right? Is there anywhere I can get original 64bit files? Or is there another way of fixing this?

    Thank you!

Look at Post #2 of this thread Default Windows 7 Themes I have the default Aero theme posted their with some instructions.

The explorer.exe and the explorerframe.dll would not affect the start menu it is in the aero.msstyles.

If you need more help let me know.

I did exactly what it says in the post and still nothing

Also, it seems that its not the original explorer.exe or explorerframe.dll because my forward and back buttons are all messed up as well.

Do Option 2 of this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker it will not harm any data or programs you have installed it will try to find and repair any corrupt system files that you have. Be sure to restart after running the scan, you may need to run this up to as many as three times with the restart in between each time.

Did multiple scans and they both come up perfectly fine!

Are the forward and back buttons fixed? Is the theme fixed?

Did you switch to the Windows Classic theme then log off and then log on before replacing the aero theme folder and the aero.theme file?

Yeah. I tried it 6-7 times. Completely cleaned out my theme folder and everything. I just tried a system restore too. I'm getting close to the point of re-installing windows. Or maybe just a repair.

    Try the Repair Install 1st.
    Have you restarted the PC?
