How about you try it yourself first, any custom theme you use you can customize it for your own use with no problems at all as long as you don't redistribute it.

Look at Post #6 of this thread Windows Explorer Properties window background color in that thread I show someone how to edit a different part of a theme the only difference for you would be you would need to open up the Elegant Glass.msstyles in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Elegant Glass folder and edit these images instead, Button # 508 it has 6 states(see screenshot) each state is 89 Pixels x 26 Pixels.

So once I export the images I have to edit them to the colour I want?......also what program are you using to edit that (I hope its freeware) as I don't really want to drop 25-30 bucks on a program I am going to use once.

Yes you need to edit the images, use Gimp it's free Download The Gimp 2.8.2 - FileHippo.com I will put some screenshots together showing how to change the color later, or use google if you don't want to wait.

Open gimp and drag and drop the image into the work space, go to Color and try some of the options to change the color.

OK I got your e-mail showing you have permission to change it, so my question now is how much darker do you want it and for the buttons do you want all the buttons darker blue or do you want just the hover and pressed buttons only?

Hover and pressed buttons only.....I would like to keep the same 3d style but have them black with white text when I hover-and press on them.

Also the Loading bars or what ever its called I would like black like the local disk storage space screen shot below.

And finally the check boxes I would like them to be windows default only with a black check mark incited of blue.

What DPI setting are you using DPI Display Size Settings - Change
The reason I asked is the theme maker made the small dpi with black checkmarks and not the medium and large.
    Let me know.

    The normal Smaller-100% (default)

Also the font/icons in the control panel was made bigger by the theme is that something you can fix as well?

I PMed you the link to the .msstyles
What you need to do is switch to the default Aero theme and then log off and then log on and then go to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes and open up that theme folder and either delete or move the .msstyles somewhere and replace it with the one I did.

I looked at the control panel and it looks like the default Aero theme to me I could change the size of the text if you would like let me know after you test the new one out.
