    How do you change your boot video


    Hey guys i wanted to ask how to easily change my boot video cause i am sick of the bar on the bottom loading with microsoft beneath it oh and if you know a good boot video i would love it

    I have never changed my boot animation so I would be of no help.

    Those types of changes generally require some modification to the Registry. If you are uncomfortable using the guide, you may not want to change Registry settings. Something as simple as a wrong keystroke can keep your computer from working............it's that serious.

    As mention previously download Boot changer from here Coder for Life - Project - Windows 7 Boot Updater

    then pop over to deviantART: where ART meets application! and search boot screen, find the one you wish to use and simply import it to Boot changer and apply very simple.
    Just remember to select the folder you save the file in and not the actual file it's self!!

    Examples:
    1. Boot Screen by tchiro on deviantART

    2. Browsing deviantART

    This is the one I used to use before installing Windows 8

    The one I downloaded was a .bs7 extension and I had to choose Load Boot Skin to make it work. I selected the file though, not the folder.

    Yeah sorry I should had been more clear on that, if it is a boot file just import it by selecting the file it self. If it is 105 little 200x200 pixel pictures you have to select the folder and the programme will create a boot file.

    Here's the one I installed. Background sound is Star Trek Next Gen and my scanner starting.
